Shanae Pool is the friendly face at the front desk and the organisational force behind the scenes at Centaur Financial Services. With over three years of experience in medical and dental administration, she brings a strong foundation of efficiency, thoughtfulness, and honesty to her new role in financial services – where she’s diving in with curiosity and a commitment to learning.

Known for her quick wit, love of secondhand shopping, and a knack for making people laugh, Shanae is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where clients feel safe, heard, and valued. Her personal mantra, “Assume everyone is having a bad day,” reflects her deep compassion and belief in the power of kindness.

Outside of work, Shanae enjoys reading, writing, yoga, running, baking, and knitting. She’s proud of her journey—from changing career paths, moving from New Zealand to Australia – and is inspired by the strength and support of her close-knit family. Shanae is excited to grow within financial services and is especially encouraged by the increasing presence of young people and females across the profession.
