I believe operational excellence is the foundation for meaningful impact on clients, on teams, and on the future of financial advice. When operations run smoothly, people thrive. Advisers can focus on advice. Teams feel supported. Clients experience genuine care.

A problem solver and fixer, I get a dopamine hit when I see the ripple effects of systems and frameworks – they lead to great client outcomes. I’m at my best collaborating with smart, values-driven people, challenging the status quo, and building something better together, which is what we’re doing here at Centaur.

I came into the advice profession determined to prove that expertise, strategic thinking, and drive matter more than stereotypes. I’ve continually sought out opportunities to learn, grow, and refine my skills, surrounding myself with mentors who expand my perspective and push me to think bigger.

I’m passionate about mentoring the next generation and am an active mentor through Griffith University Alumni, guiding aspiring professionals on career progression and personal development. My vision for financial advice is clear: a future where financial planning is a first-choice career for the brightest minds, and where every Australian has access to high-quality advice.

Outside work, you’ll find me in the Pilates studio, cooking (and eating) delicious food, and spending time with friends and family. I also love to travel and regularly get back to New Zealand to see my family, where we spend days fishing and ‘working’ on my Dad’s hobby farm.

My family originated from Egypt with the surname Gohar. In 2017, I had the amazing opportunity to travel there with my Dad, which was very special. We even climbed Mt. Sinai on my 30th birthday, a very special memory.

I’m a big believer in spending money on experiences that bring lasting joy. That’s a philosophy I’d share with my younger self and with clients alike.

Barcelona, for sure! It’s got amazing food, friendly people, and stunning architecture – but what really makes it special is the history. From ancient Roman roots to the Gothic Quarter and Gaudí’s iconic designs, every street feels like a story. Plus, you can dive into the hustle or find a quiet spot to relax – it’s the perfect mix
