Financial planning is a profession where no two days are the same and there are always nuanced problems to solve for clients, which is why it’s so rewarding.

As a financial adviser, we become a trusted part of someone’s team. A person that families consult before making major decisions. It’s a privilege.

Every adviser has a client situation that cements why they chose this career. For me, it was a client who came to us recently widowed after the unexpected death of her husband. When we first met, she was anxious and overwhelmed. Her main focus was simple: make sure she had enough money to live without running out, simplify her finances, and be able to support her daughters.

At our first six-monthly review, she was in tears – happy tears – about the support and peace of mind we’d provided. She spoke about the anxiety she’d felt before working with us and the confidence she now has in her future. One of her daughters has since reached out to work with us because of the trust we’ve built.

My approach combines deep industry knowledge with a commitment to understanding each client’s unique needs. At the heart of my practice is building lasting relationships based on trust and transparency.

As a born and bred Gold Coaster, I love going to the beach and surfing in my free time. My partner Riley and I are foodies, so we thoroughly enjoy fine food and fine wine in fine settings. I’m a weekend warrior who enjoys doing renovations around the home, with teachings from YouTube and savings from my tradie mates.

I’m a sports tragic. Brisbane Lions, Brisbane Broncos, and the Brisbane Heat all get my support year-round. Finance podcasts whilst washing the dishes is my happy place.

And I’m killer at karaoke.

John Maynard Keynes. He was a major part of my studies and curiosity into the world of finance and economics. His principles and ideology have shaped government policy in the great depression, post WW2 economy and global financial crisis. I would love to hear his opinions and views on the modern world and future economies taking into account the significant technological advancements since his time.
