Paving the way to an election…

Treasurer Josh Frydenberg’s first budget signals a return to surplus for the first time in 12 years. Highlights from the budget include:

  • Bigger tax cuts
  • A boost to regulation and compliance in the wake of the Banking Royal Commission
  • Healthcare and welfare investment, and
  • Support for older Australians through superannuation contribution regulations
