Hugh Robertson, Guest Speaker at IMAP Adviser Roadshow 2021 – Professionalism Under Adversity.
On Tuesday 11th May 2021, our very own Hugh Robertson was invited on stage at the IMAP – Institute of Managed Account Professionals Brisbane conference to discuss how we’ve built our industry-leading investment portfolios from Balanced and Growth models, both active and passive, And now a sustainable investment model to really align a portfolio with our client’s values and attitudes towards sustainability.
The idea behind the presentation was how to discuss how to successfully navigate investment portfolio’s for both retirees and those still working, and what has worked well and what lessons have been learned over the past 15 years of managing clients wealth.
What is IMAP?
Institute of Managed Account Professionals (IMAP) is the only industry organisation for advisers, managers, providers and other businesses actively involved in offering or supporting Managed Accounts.
Their goals are to provide information, education and representation to advisers, investment managers, platforms and managed account service providers to build a better profession.
IMAP provides its subscribers with:
- Access to the latest developments in the industry – Education and training and access to industry professionals at all levels. (A number of IMAP events have been accredited by the FPA, and CPD points are available)
- Representation as the voice of the managed accounts industry able to represent its interests to regulators such as ASIC.
- Networking opportunities for advisers and dealer groups interested or involved in Managed Accounts to meet and interact with platform providers, legal, research, investment and other service providers, and investment managers.
